Narputta describes four ninu which are in the creek the other side of Lake Kaarkurutintja (Lake Mac Donald). Ninu are small creatures with a long tail, a bit like a mouse, and a bit like a pussycat. They are looking for their mother and for water in the rockholes. Sometimes at night they play on the road. There are a big mob of rockholes there, the other side of the lake.
