In this painting Regina has depicted wupun (Sun Mat), traditionally woven with Yerrgi (Pandanus) and Merrepen (Sand Palm) by the women of Peppimenarti for decorative use.
The subject matter of Regina’s works is often based around the practice of weaving fibre art, and stems directly from her exceptional skills as a master weaver.
